Can you guess whose house is this?

As I did before, I like to continue challenging your visual memory, this time not presenting a portrait of a famous person but an image of a famous person's house. The featured houses will  be owned by a designer, or an architect, or an artist, so we'll have the opportunity to peek into their private life.
This time we'll start in Milan, where this artist-designer (and more) lived. So many clues in this kitchen, it should be quite easy to identify the geniality behind its design. I will not publish the comments until the end of next week, so keep writing. The first person with the right answer will have an "honorable mention" and of course a link to the Web site or blog.

If you receive this post by Email please click HERE and go to the comments section.
I love to hear from you!

Hi, I am a recent fan of your blog and very much an amateur interested in design but I think this kitchen, apart from being one I would like to be in, may be/ have been Piero Fornasetti's.
The floor under the butterflies is so interesting too.
I love the things I am learning here, thank you so much for that.

It is Piero Fornasetti's amazing apartment in the heart of Milan.
It's on my wish list to see it one day :)

I believe it's Piero Fornasetti's Kitchen.

I adore the use of the butterfly wallpaper. I'd like it on a bathroom vanity.

My hunch would be Piero Fornasetti - I think the (I do hope that's what it is) paper-towel-dispenser on the left gives it away... ;-) Whishing you a good week ahead, Love from London xo

I did post a comment earlier but it just disappeared. I am very much an interested amateur in the design world but I think this might be Piero Fornasetti's home. It looks great - I think the floor decoration is incredible!

Mi piace sempre rincontrare le persone italiane. Non ho molto opportunita di praticare la lingua. Mi scusa se sbaglio!
La cucina colle farfalline e per caso fornasetti?
