I am glad to say that it is already Spring here and everything in bloom. I remember how long a wait it used to be for spring to arrive when I lived in New York. Hope it will come to visit you soon.
I love your mindset on the 'joy of winter'! But i cease to see the day when i will be complaining about the heat haha Lovely post :)
