Brillante choice: Cappellini

Peacock chair
This chair was created by the young Israeli designer Dror Benshetrit for Cappellini, Milan. It is made entirely with a single panel of two colors felt curled on a base of dark brown metal. The felt combines two-tone gray base with green, yellow or blue.  An elegant and fluid form, almost a sculpture, which respects function and aesthetics.I can see this chair magically enhancing any room of a house, giving life to a forgotten empty corner, I would also try a juxtaposition with an antique occasional table or an antique mirror above.

Modern glamour boudoir style... great design.

Is the felt itchy? I think it would be amazing next to an antique. I really need to woman up and find something modern for myself. I have many styles mixed, but have a complete void in modern.
Best,
Liz
P.S. my word verification word is "boring" do you think the universe is commenting on my taste?!

Wow, very cool!! It's a piece of furniture AND a piece of art -- I wouldn't be able to decide between sitting on it and staring at it :-)

Wow, congratulations, what a success RUE has become. It is very difficult to look for a magazine that contains everything that you want to look for especially home décor as many magazine features general home décor and not focus on one part of a home like picking the right stacking chair seat or something that is important. I like to congratulate RUE for the wonderful front cover; it is very professionally done and very interesting. I like online magazines because I am allergic with the paper that most newspapers and magazines used. I hope that RUE will stay longer and grow into a fashion con on home décor.
