Tolomeo lamp by Artemide.
The iconic Tolomeo lamp, designed in 1987 by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, became an instant best-seller. It is produced by Artemide. The lamp received the highly recognized prize of Il Compasso d’Oro, an industrial design award created in Italy in 1954.

I love the Tolomeo lights; I have them on a base on each of our bedside tables and I try to put them in my clients homes whenever they "allow"...

I don't have Tolomeo lights but I love the chic contemporary lines!!
I am using this lamp as the main lighting of my living room. It looks amazing with high ceiling room and it's a very practical and nice designed floor lamp for open areas
I have 2 Tolomeo lamps on the sides of the bed at a clients, clipped on stainless steel rods to adjust the height. Brilliant! (I think!)

I simply love Tolomeo! I have on that i bought in New York, long time ago. And it goes with me everywhere in the world. Now I live in Milan, and its here with me. Its an italian icon.
